OMG!! I'M GETTING SUPER DARK NOW! SHARKS~Hello. I've just came back from my Freshment Orientation Camp [FOC] 3 days ago. It was the most fun and exciting camp I've ever been to in my life! :) But of course, in the very beginning, I thought that it's gna be a 3-day disaster for me as I was in different grp as dian and I hardly know anybody in my grp. The theme for the camp is superheroes and our grp name is SUPERMAN! It's funny that our grp is called superman. Cos thr's no man in our grp at all! Thr's one actually. But he went home on the first day. Don't really know the reason tho. Haha!
Kay so, day one. Mark our names and get the t-shirt. After that, we had to find our group leaders. And I had a hard time finding superman's group. And when I found it, I was like the first person they've recruited? Haha! Then came another girl and she sat beside me. We introduce ourselves to each other and her name is xia hui. If I'm not mistaken. After a few minutes, then the rest of my groupmates came. We had to introduce ourselves to the grp. While they introduce themselves, my one and only fwen at the point of time, xia hui, had to transfer to another grp. And so, I was alone. I made fwens with others too tho but I just didn't talk much.
Impossible rite?? Haha! After that, we played ice breakers and it was okay. It's hard to rmb their names and at that point of time, the only name I rmbed was MO! Haha! After that, we sat ard and think of our cheers. I wanted to use our E2 cheers but I sorta forget the full cheer so I just shut up. Haha! Our cheers was okay. Some of the cheers were short and some were long. Haha! Had the hard time memorising all the cheers! Haha! After that, we put our belongings in the class room. I love the classroom cos it's air-condition! Haha! It was our free time so we had to think of an item presentation. Most of them were contributing their ideas while me? Just sitting thr listening and day dreaming. You guys must be a lil' shock rite? And you guys must be thinking this,
ekynn? was quiet? and day dreaming? so unbelievable! Haha! But it was true tho. Didn't really had that mood to socialize with everybody. Haha! Well anw, after lunch, we continue playing games. Can't really rmb the games but it was fun
laa. But thr's one thing that is not fun. It's the weather. It was so hot and everybody were like perspiring like crazy... esp. me! Haha! I think I started talking with my groupmates was after lunch. When we played games and compete against other team. Haha! After dinner, it was our free time. The GLs said tht we could go and had a bath but non of us did. Cos we had to play treasure hunt after that and I'm sure we're gna sweat. So, all of us thought of bathing only after the treasure hunt. The treasure hunt was fun. We had to ensure that the GMs didn't caught us with their torch. And whenever they saw the GM, they were like danger2! And they started running to hide from them. But they didn't even tell us that they're running and everbody was in great pain cos we had to tie our hands together. Haha! It was really fun
laa. After treasure hunt, we went back to the classroom and rest. Many of my grpmates had alr sleep without bathing. Haha! At 11PM, only a few of us went to bathe. We practise our skit once and went to bed. I could hardly slp on the first day. I dunno why but I kept waking up in the middle of the night. Haha!
Day 2. The second day was my favourite part of the whole camp cos it's wet and dirty games!! whee
~ Haha! After breakfast, it was our wet games. Our first wet games was fun. We had to pass the water bags from one end to the other without breaking it. And the other grp had to steal tht water bag from us and break it. Group with the most water bags being passed safely wins! And you know wht? The person standing behind me was like so tall and he could easily grab the water bags and break it. So, I got wet the most. Haha! And when it was their turn to pass the bags, I can't even reach to the bags. Cos like I said, the person next to me is like so tall and I jus couldn't reach it. Haha! But we won
laa. We had 5 bags and they had only 2. Hehe! After that, we played the passing of toothpaste. I had to pass the toothpaste from my nose to my friend's ear. It was so difficult! Haha! But it was fun tho. After that, we played a game whr we had to support a pail of water using with only our legs. In this game, both my friend and I didn't even contributed. It's not that we did not want to but both of us are short! And the pail keep gg further and further from us! Haha! It was tiring but fun! Haha! [
the games are not in order. oopps! hehe!] After lunch was our dirty games. We first played the tug-of-war [think so]. We had to do it in pair. One had to blindfold the other had to give out directions. I had to give the directions and I don't think I did okay. Haha! But luckily we did not need to do some jumping jacks. Haha! After that we went to the field to play 4 games; tomato race, twister, bowling and telematch. We played tomato race first. We had to lie flat on the mat and crawl and get the tomato. First person gets the tomato can squash the tomato to our opponent! It was
shiok! Haha! Then, we played the human twister. On the mat, thr's tomato ketchup, dough, food coloring and peanut butter! We had to follow wht the GM told us to do and it's super gross. My friend had to put her cheek on the green ink and legs on the tomato ketchup. It's so eeeuuwww rite? Haha! Luckily I only need to put my hands on the blue ink and legs on the tomato ketchup. It's not that gross. Haha! Everybody
kana sabo by this one GM. She put peanut butter on everybody! Legs, hair, neck, face... Basically everywhere! She put peanut butter on my neck, hair and my legs! And it's so gross! Haha! Everybody was very dirty! Haha! Then we played human bowling. We had to run and then fall when we reach to the mat. [the mat is full of soap and it's slippery. so when we fall, we actually slide ourselves and hit the bottles. haha!] It looks fun at first but after sometimes looking at it, it is sort of embarrassing. Thr's many who can't make the bottles fall. Some jus slip and fell cos they stepped on the mat and some just didn't have that power and it slide half way only. Haha! So, me and my friend decided not to play cos we didn't wna embarrass ourselves. Haha! And everybody was watching us play okay! Cos we're the last grp to play that game and they had finish playing their games. So it was really.... super embarrassing. But we couldn't escape tho. Our GLs spot us and "force" us to jus give it a try. And yea... We did. And like I said... It's embarrassing! Haha! But luckily I hit most of the bottles! Whee
~~ Haha! After that, we waited for 2 groups to arrive before playing telematch. The telematch was fun! First we had to spin 10 rounds. Then, run to the basin full with water with a tomato floating inside. We had to get the tomato out of the basin using our mouth. It sounds easy but it's quite difficult. Haha! Next, we had to run to the plate full with flour with a gummie bear inside. We had to grab that gummie bear using our mouth also and eat it! It's gross alright. Haha! Den we had to burst a balloon by sitting on it. After everybody from the grp had finish bursting the balloon, we had to break the watermelon and eat it. Luckily our watermelon was spoilt and we need not eat that watermelon. But we had to hide it tho to make it looks like we ate it. And the smell is so smelly that I nearly vomitted! Haha! It was our wash up after that. The toilet was packed with people. And luckily I no need to wait that long to bathe. Hehe! My dirty clothes smell awfully awful! I had to wash it 3 to 4 times before the smell's gone. But now, I can still smell it
laa. Haha! After dinner was our item presentation. We had to go to lecture theater 50 plus. And it was really small. We thought the stage would be big but it's not. And our item was a mess! Really. But it's okay. I had fun being the superwoman! Haha! After that, we had to save one of our GLs. They were kidnapped. And we had to find for clues and then unsolved the puzzle. But we jus couldn't find the 2nd clue. Luckily thr's a lifeline to help us. Hehe! The saving of GL is really fuN! We are like CSI and finding clues and solving mystery... WHOOOooo
~~ Haha! Thr's hop nite after that. Everybody was dancing and grooving with the beat. Haha! Of course, I didn't dance. Haha! Just stand around at first... Den sat down with my friend watching them dance. After that we went back to our bunk and relax. Haha! At ard 2.30AM or so, the GLs brought us to MC DONALD! Haha! Thought of eating thr but it was close. So, we bought the food and bring back to sch. This camp is not like any other camp. This is an extraordinary camp! Haha! It's my first time gg to camps without getting scolded. Usually, the teachers would scold us for this and that. And lights out at 11.30 and everybody had to slp. We can't walk ard even if we're not slpy. We had to like force ourselves to slp and it's sorta torturing
laa. But this camp, it was so diff! Guess we're adults already and knw how to take care of ourselves. Haha!
Day 3. We played some games. And combined with other group and play blow wind blow. It was really fun! I love playing this game. I still rmb those times during NPCC, we played this game and it was like an earthquake! Haha! It rain heavily! So, we had to sit in an enclosed space and think of some cheer as freshies. Cos we need to challenge against our GLs and GMs! Haha! The preparation was good but when it the real thing started, it was a chaos. Haha! And of course, they win. Haha! Grab some "goody bag" and went home. It was tiring! Thr's no one at home when I reached home! saddening! Haha! Think tht's all for now... I'm dead tired rite now.
